Meet Terry

Niagara Falls is home.
Serving it is personal.

A lifelong Niagara Falls resident, Terry has spent his life showing up for this community. He and his wife, Joanne, raised their two children here, with roots stretching from Chippawa to the north end.

From 27 years with the Niagara Regional Police Service to decades of coaching youth sports, Terry brings a practical understanding of the challenges facing our city—and a commitment to listening to the people who live here.

My goal is simple: responsible leadership, practical solutions, and a stronger Niagara Falls.Terry Thomson

The plan for our city

Five priorities.
One stronger Niagara Falls.

A practical plan to make our city an even better place to live, work, raise a family, and visit.

01

Fiscal responsibility

Make every tax dollar count, reduce waste, and bring greater accountability to City Hall.

02

Public safety

Bring police, public health, and community partners together to build a safer Niagara Falls.

03

Infrastructure

Plan ahead for reliable roads, sewers, and services, with action on Niagara Falls residential flooding.

04

Responsible development

Support new homes, encourage investment, and protect the quality of life our residents value.

05

Year-round tourism

Champion local tourism, support year-round events, and give visitors more reasons to stay.
